Newest Sixer Matt Harpring, who was acquired in a trade from the Cleveland Calaviers this month, had successful surgery on Friday to remove bone spurs from his right ankle, ESPN is reporting. The 90-minute procedure was performed Friday at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, and Harpring is expected to make a full recovery.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports that Aaron McKies' fiance Kianna Williams has filed a palimony suit accusing McKie of adultery, cruelty and abuse. However, his agent and attorney, Leon Rose, issued a statement saying McKie "adamantly denies all of Williams' charges."
In her suit, Williams claims she is McKie's common-law wife, and has lived with him for the past eight years. She's seeking alimony, child support and a share of their property. And presumably, a piece of his multimillion-dollar Sixers contract.
