Kelly Oubre could miss the remainder of the season with a torn meniscus in his right knee.

Oubre is in the process of seeking a second opinion.

The severity of the tear will determine if Oubre is out weeks or for the remainder of the season.

Oubre is averaging 18.7 points and 6.4 rebounds in 56 games this season after re-signing with the Phoenix Suns on a two-year, $30 million contract. 

Devin Booker has been named by Adam Silver as an injury replacement to the 2020 All-Star Game for Damian Lillard. Booker will also replace Lillard in the Three-Point Contest.

Booker is averaging 26.4 points (10th in NBA) and 6.3 assists (19th) while shooting career bests of 49.6% from the field (30th) and 92.0% from the free throw line (2nd) in this his fifth season.

Booker’s selection is the 63rd all-time for the Suns and first since Steve Nash in 2012.

The Phoenix Suns have agreed to sign Jonah Bolden to a 10-day contract.

Bolden was recently waived by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Bolden was the 37th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

In 14 games in the G League this season, Bolden has averaged 11.6 points and 6.9 rebounds in 24.7 minutes per game.

The Phoenix Suns have waived Tyler Johnson, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Johnson is in the final year of a 4-year deal, and is still owed $7 million of his $19.25 million contract.

Teams are expected to be interested in signing Johnson, according to ESPN.

The Detroit Pistons and Phoenix Suns have reached an impasse on a trade of Luke Kennard.

The Suns had interest in acquiring Kennard, but the two sides have been unable to agree to the protections on a first round pick the Pistons would receive.

Kennard was the 12th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and will become eligible for an extension this offseason.

One possible package picking up steam involves the Suns sending back Jevon Carter, Elie Okobo and a first-round pick for Kennard.

The Suns see Kennard as a 30 minutes-plus per game floor spacer next to Devin Booker, Kelly Oubre, Jr., and Ricky Rubio.
