Kenneth Faried has agreed to a contract buyout with the Brooklyn Nets.
The 29-year-old Faried is expected to join the Rockets once he clears waivers on Monday.
The Rockets have until then to make room for Faried's roster spot. With Clint Capela's injury, Faried will step into the lineup immediately and play significant minutes.
Danuel House Jr. has reportedly failed to reach a contract agreement with the Houston Rockets. House completed the last of his 45 days of service under a two-way deal with the Rockets on Monday.
House will remain on a two-way contract with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He can still sign the Rockets' offer, but that is not expected.
The Rockets are expected to sign another wing to a 10-day deal.
House is averaging 9 points and 3.6 rebounds on the season, while shooting 39% from the 3-point line.

Over 13 appearances this season, the 28-year-old Nunnally averaged 2.1 points in 4.9 minutes.

Thibodeau had a 97-107 record as coach of the Timberwolves, the second most wins in franchise history.

Walker IV shot 12-22 from the field against the Memphis Hustle, including going 4-6 from the 3-point line.
The 20-year-old Walker IV recently made his NBA debut against the Raptors, becoming the second-youngest player to appear in a game in Spurs franchise history.
