The Cleveland Cavaliers and J.R. Smith agreed to push back the guarantee date of his contract to July 15th, league sources told Joe Vardon of The Athletic. 

The agreement gives the Cavs more time to find a trade for Smith. In exchange, the guaranteed portion of Smith's contract rises from $3.9 million to $4.4 million.

Smith last played an NBA game on November 19th. 

The Milwaukee Bucks have extended a qualifying offer to Malcolm Brogdon, league sources told Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

The move makes Brogdon a restricted free agent.

The Bucks, who have several key players who are free agents this summer, recently traded Tony Snell in an effort to clear cap room.

The Boston Celtics renounced the rights for Terry Rozier, league sources told Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

The move allows the Celtics to open up a max slot, which they are expected to use to sign Kemba Walker. 

Rozier is now an unrestricted free agent.

The Sacramento Kings have extended a qualifying offer to Willie Cauley-Stein, league sources told Sam Amick of The Athletic.

The qualifying offer, worth $6.2 million, makes Cauley-Stein a restricted free agent.

The move comes on the heels of Cauley-Stein's agent asking the Kings to give his client a fresh start by letting him walk in free agency.

The Golden State Warriors extended a $1.8 million qualifying offer to Jordan Bell, making him a restricted free agent.

Bell averaged 3.3 points in 11.6 minutes last season, while appearing in 68 games for the Warriors. 

The Minnesota Timberwolves have extended a qualifying offer to Tyus Jones, making him a restricted free agent. 

The 23-year-old Jones averaged 6.9 points and 4.8 assists for the Timberwolves last season. 

The New Orleans Pelicans will decline to extend qualifying offers to Stanley Johnson and Cheick Diallo.

The move opens up more than $28 million in cap space. 

Johnson is expected to receive interest from several teams, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic. 

The New York Knicks will not extend a qualifying offer to either Emmanuel Mudiay or Luke Kornet, sources to Ian Begley of SNY.

The decision to not extend Mudiay a qualifying offer opens up two max slots for the Knicks.

The team plans to meet with Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant on June 30th. 

Aron Baynes has opted-in to the second year of his Boston Celtics contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. 

Baynes will make $5.9 million next season.

Baynes averaged 5.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 16.1 minutes last season.
