Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the 2019 NBA Most Valuable Player.

Antetokounmpo beat out James Harden to win the award for the first time in his career.

Harden won the award last season while finishing also second in 2015 and 2017.

Rudy Gobert has been named the 2019 NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

Gobert also won the award last season.

Jon Horst has been named the 2019 NBA Executive of the Year.

Horst became general manager of the Bucks in 2018.

Horst finished with 72 total points, just ahead of Tim Connelly with 69 total points. Horst received 10 first place votes, five second place votes and seven third place votes. Connelly received nine first place votes, eight second place votes and zero third place votes.

Lawrence Frank finished third followed by Masai Ujiri at fourth.

Mike Budenholzer has been named the 2019 NBA Coach of the Year.

Budenholzer beat out Michael Malone and Doc Rivers to win the award.

Lou Williams has been named the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year.

Williams beat out Montrezl Harrell and Domantas Sabonis to win the award.

Williams received 96 out of 100 first place votes, while Sabonis received 52 second place votes compared to 30 for Harrell.

Pascal Siakam has been named the 2019 NBA Most Improved Player.

Siakam received 86 out of a possible 100 votes for the award. Russell finished second while Fox finished a distant third.

Buddy Hield and Nikola Vucevic rounded out the top-5.

Luka Doncic has been named the 2019 NBA Rookie of the Year.

Doncic beat out Trae Young to win the award.

Doncic received 98 out of 100 first place votes while Young received 97 second place votes.

Deandre Ayton finished a distant third in voting.

Damian Lillard has won the 2018-19 J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award, as administered and selected by the Professional Basketball Writers Association (PBWA). Named after the NBA’s second commissioner, the honor is presented annually by the PBWA to a player, coach or athletic trainer who shows outstanding service and dedication to the community.

Lillard was one of five finalists for the 2018-19 J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award, along with Bismack Biyombo, Devin Booker, Mike Conley and Steve Kerr.

Lillard is being honored for supporting and inspiring high school students in Portland through his RESPECT program, which encourages youth to Show Up, Work Hard and Be Kind. Lillard, who has spent his entire career with the Trail Blazers since being selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, started the anti-bullying platform in 2013 after meeting with Portland school administrators to identify schools that most needed a more positive culture among students.

Lillard has partnered with three Portland high schools – Madison, Parkrose and Roosevelt – to reinforce the value of education and celebrate student achievement. He has participated in school assemblies and class discussions and has empowered teachers and counselors to reward respectful, diligent students with tickets to Trail Blazers games, RESPECT merchandise and special events with Lillard such as a private tour of the team’s practice facility. The schools have reported significant progress resulting from Lillard’s commitment, including improvements in student behavior, engagement, attendance and tardiness.
