Marcelinho Huertas continued his brilliant run of form Thursday in leading Caja Laboral to a 78-63 victory over Unicaja and winning MVP of the Week honors in the process. Huertas had 18 points on near-perfect shooting plus 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals for a career-high performance index rating of 30.

The win put Laboral in pole position in Group E and the Spanish champs can clinch first place in the group with a win next week at Lietuvos Rytas. Huertas became the first player to win MVP honors twice in the Top 16 since Lynn Greer, then with Olympiacos, did so in the 2007-08 season.

Antonis Fotsis recorded one of the best games of his Euroleague career Thursday to lead Panathinaikos to a 76-74 victory over Caja Laboral in Group E and earn Top-16 Week 4 MVP honors.

Fotsis, a former Euroleague, Eurocup and EuroBasket champion, was at his best as he racked up season highs of 22 points and 11 rebounds en route to a career-high 40 performance index rating.

Juan Carlos Navarro is Euroleague Basketball's choice as MVP for January.

Navarro led Regal Barcelona to a 3-0 record in the Top 16 phase. Navarro averaged 21.3 points in the three wins.

The Barcelona leader is also the reigning Final Four MVP.

Lior Eliyahu and D'Or Fischer were named co-MVPs from the third set of games for Euroleague's Top 16 round.

Eliyahu tied a Euroleague record in helping Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv roll to a 104-67 win over Union Olimpija in Group F. Eliyahu was a perfect 10-for-10 from the floor, scoring 20 points.

Fischer racked up a double-double as Real Madrid edged Efes Pilsen 89-86 in overtime in Group G. Fischer had 15 points, 12 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks

The two players were teammates at Maccabi in the 2007-08 season and helped the team reach that season’s Final Four in Madrid.

Cedevita Zagreb forward Damjan Rudez has been named Eurocup MVP of Week 3.

Rudez scored a career-high of 35 points by making 3 of 5 two-point shots, 7 of 13 three-pointers and 8 of 8 free throws in Cedevita's 114-110 overtime win against Gran Canaria.
