Tulsa 66ers guard Mustafa Shakur was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Monday, March 24 - Sunday, March 30. The award is the first for Shakur this season.

Shakur (6-3, 190, Arizona) led the 66ers to a 2-0 week, defeating the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Austin Toros on back-to-back nights.  For the week, Shakur averaged and NBA D-League high 30.0 points to go with 9.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists, good for fourth-best in the NBA D-League.  He recorded a 29-point, 11-rebound, 10-assist triple-double against the Vipers on March 28, the first such game of his four-year NBA D-League career. 

Willie Reed has reached agreement with the Sacramento Kings on a contract for the remainder of the season, his agent Joel Bell told RealGM.

The deal contains a team option for next season.

Reed, a 6-foot-10 forward with the Springfield Armor of the NBA D-League, has averaged 14.8 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 59 percent shooting this season. He went to training camp with the Kings in 2012, and the team remains enamored with his activity and athleticism.

Reed finished last season with the Memphis Grizzlies and participated with their summer league team, but he was released prior to 2013-14.

Reed, 23, played two seasons at Saint Louis University, where he averaged 12.4 points and 7.9 rebounds as a sophomore.

The Portland Trail Blazers have assigned rookie guard Allen Crabbe to the NBA Development League’s Idaho Stampede.

Crabbe is averaging 2.1 points, 0.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 5.1 minutes in 14 games for the Trail Blazers this season.

This marks Crabbe's second assignment to the D-League.

Los Angeles D-Fenders forward Brandon Costner and Springfield Armor forward Willie Reed were named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week for games played Monday, March 17- Sunday, March 23.  

Costner (6-9, 235, North Carolina State) led the D-Fenders to a 2-1 week, including wins over the Austin Toros and Santa Cruz Warriors. For the week, Costner averaged 27.0 points on 59 percent shooting from the floor to go with 11.3 rebounds.

Reed (6-10, 220, St. Louis) helped the Armor record a 2-2 week, securing wins against the Erie BayHawks and Canton Charge while averaging 18.3 points on 56 percent shooting, to go with 19.3 rebounds, including 7.5 offensive rebounds. 

The Iowa Energy have signed Josh Boone.

Boone was the 23rd overall pick by the Nets in 2006.

The former Connecticut Husky averaged 5.2 points and 4.9 rebounds in his four years with the Nets.

Boone spent part of last season with Iowa.

Justin Hamilton has been assigned to the Sioux Falls Skyforce for their NBA Development League home games this Friday and Saturday against the Idaho Stampede. 

Hamilton, who was signed by the Miami Heat on March 14, appeared in 37 games (all starts) with the Skyforce earlier this season and averaged 19.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.03 blocks, 1.5 assists and 35.8 minutes while shooting 49.1 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from three-point range and 81.2 percent from the foul line. The 2014 NBA D-League All-Star has not appeared in a game with Miami this season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers recalled Sergey Karasev from the Canton Charge of the NBA D-League.

Karasev returned for the Cavaliers' game against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

Shawne Williams has been named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Monday, March 10 – Sunday, March 16. The award is the first for Williams, who becomes the third member of the Los Angeles D-Fender to be honored as Performer of the Week this season, joining Manny Harris and Terrence Williams.

Williams (6-9, 225, Memphis) led the D-Fenders to a 3-0 week, including road wins over the Tulsa 66ers and Canton Charge.  For the week, Williams averaged 26.3 points on 49 percent shooting from the floor and 46 percent shooting from three-point territory to go with 7.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks.  His 34-point performance on March 15 at Canton was his NBA D-League career high. 

A six-year NBA veteran who played in 36 games for the Los Angeles Lakers this season, Williams is averaging 19.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 30.6 minutes in 13 games for the D-Fenders. 

D-League forward James Nunnally will sign a 10-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, league sources told RealGM.

Nunnally, who has averaged 18.1 points and 4.5 rebounds with the Bakersfield Jam and Texas Legends this season, worked out for the 76ers on Tuesday.

A 6-foot-7 wing shooter, Nunnally earned two 10-day contracts with the Atlanta Hawks in January. He scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 54 minutes of action with the Hawks.

Nunnally played four collegiate seasons at UC Santa Barbara.

The 76ers are 15-51, losers of 20 consecutive games, and have intended to use their 15th roster spot as a tryout opportunity for young players.

Mustafa Shakur has signed a 10-day contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Shakur has appeared in 37 games (36 starts) with the Erie BayHawks and Tulsa 66ers this season, averaging 16.7 points, 6.1 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.92 steals in 34.4 minutes per contest.
