The Los Angeles Lakers have assigned Xavier Henry to the NBA D-League.
Henry will play in the Los Angeles D-Fenders' game on Thursday night.
Henry has missed the last 27 games due to a right knee injury.
The Washington Wizards have reassigned Glen Rice Jr. to the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League.
This marks Rice's second assignment to Iowa this season.
Rice has appeared in 11 games, including one start, for Washington this season while averaging 2.9 points in 10 minutes per game.
The Orlando Magic have signed center Dewayne Dedmon and guard-forward Adonis Thomas to 10-day contracts.
Dedmon has played in 15 combined games this season with Golden State and Philadelphia, averaging 2.5 ppg. and 3.3 rpg. in 10.4 minpg. He also appeared in 15 games with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, averaging 15.2 ppg., 13.1 rpg., 1.3 apg., 2.33 blkpg. and 1.53 stlpg. in 33.7 minpg.
Thomas has played in 26 games (21 starts) with the Springfield Armor of the NBA Development League, averaging 16.2 ppg., 4.2 rpg. and 1.3 apg. in 35.1 minpg., while shooting .469 (38-81) from three-point range.
The Miami Heat have signed DeAndre Liggins to a 10-day contract.
Liggins was previously with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, D-League affiliate of the Heat. Liggins was averaging 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.5 steals in 40.3 minutes per game.
Liggins was a 2014 NBA D-League All-Star.
The Idaho Stampede’s Dee Bost was named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Monday, Feb. 17 – Sunday, Feb. 23. The honor is the first for Bost this season.
Bost, a 6-2, 176-pound guard from Mississippi State, led Idaho to a 2-0 week, including wins over the Maine Red Claws and Los Angeles D-Fenders. Bost averaged a 20.5-point, 14.5-assist, 11.5-rebound triple-double last week while shooting 36 percent from the floor.
On Feb. 19, Bost, who leads the NBA D-League in minutes (42.0 mpg), played wire-to-wire against the Red Claws, scoring 29 points to go with 14 assists, seven rebounds, two steals and a block. He came back three days later to record his fifth triple-double of the season when he finished with 12 points, 16 rebounds, 15 assists and four steals at Los Angeles.
On the season, Bost is averaging an NBA D-League best 8.9 assists, to go with 16.2 points and 6.4 rebounds.
The New York Knicks are mulling whether to sign Ike Diogu, according to a source.
The Knicks will have two open roster spots when the releases of Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih are official.
Diogu played with the Knicks in training camp. Diogu has spent this season with the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA D-League, averaging 16.2 points and 8.2 rebounds.
The Knicks could also consider other veteran players such as Earl Clark, Ben Gordon, Antawn Jamison.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed forward/center Arinze Onuaku of the NBA D-League to a 10-day contract, the team announced on Saturday.
Onuaku has appeared in 26 games for the Canton Charge this season, averaging 14.4 points on .622 shooting, 9.7 rebounds and 1.0 block in 24.2 minutes per game.
Onuaku played three games with the New Orleans Pelicans earlier in the campaign.
The Golden State Warriors have signed Hilton Armstrong to a 10-day contract.
Armstrong was with the Indiana Pacers during training camp and later joined the Warriors for a brief stint in January.
Armstrong is averaging 12.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game in 23 D-League appearances with the Santa Cruz Warriors.
The Houston Rockets signed Troy Daniels out of the NBA D-League on Friday while releasing Ronnie Brewer.
Brewer signed with the Rockets as a free agent last offseason.
Daniels has spent the season with the Rockets' affiliate, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, and will remain with the D-League team.
