Nikola Mirotic announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of Barcelona's Euroleague game against Valencia Basket.

Mirotic said that he is "well and following doctors' instructions."

Barcelona head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius and assistant coach Darius Maskoliunas both tested positive for COVID-19 last month.

Mirotic signed with Barcelona last offseason before extending his contract through the 2024/25 season. 

Will Weaver has emerged as a candidate for the head coaching position with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Weaver is currently head coach with the Sydney Kings.

Weaver has been an assistant coach in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets before becoming head coach of the Long Island Nets of the G League.
