Anadolu Efes Wins 2021 Euroleague Championship, Vasilije Micic Named MVP

Anadolu Efes Istanbul defeated Barcelona 86-81 to win the 2021 Euroleague championship.

Vasilije Micic was named MVP of the Final Four. Micic also was named MVP of the Euroleague regular season. 

Micic will join the Oklahoma City Thunder next season.

Usman Garuba Declares For 2021 NBA Draft

Usman Garuba has submitted paperwork to make himself eligible for the 2021 NBA draft.

Garuba is the No. 15 prospect in the ESPN Top 100.

Garuba is averaging 5.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 19 minutes per game in the ACB for Real Madrid, who just completed the regular season at 34-2 to claim the No. 1 seed in the playoffs, starting next week.

Garuba is arguably the most versatile defensive prospect in the 2021 NBA draft. Garuba is 6'8, 230 pounds with a 7'3 wingspan. Garuba has drawn comparisons from NBA scouts to the likes of OG Anunoby and P.J. Washington with his style of play.

Alperen Sengun Declares For 2021 NBA Draft

Alperen Sengun has declared for the 2021 NBA draft. Sengun is currently ESPN's No. 14 prospect in the class.

"At the beginning of the season, I didn't think my performance would be this high, but with every passing game I felt I could do more and more," Sengun said via email. "I believe that there are no limits for me to get better as a basketball player."

Sengun is averaging 19.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 steals in 28 minutes per game for Turkish league team Besiktas, shooting 65% from the field and 81% from the free throw line.

Sengun has drawn comparison from scouts to Kevin Love and Domantas Sabonis.

Luca Vildoza Agrees To Four-Year, $13.6M Non-Guaranteed Deal With Knicks

Luca Vildoza has agreed to a four-year, $13.6 million deal with the New York Knicks. The deal contains three non-guaranteed years on the contract.

Vildoza was playing for Baskonia in Spain. Vildoza negotiated a buyout with Baskonia before agreeing to the deal with the Knicks.

The Knicks had the salary cap space and roster spot to get ahead of summer free agency and secure Vildoza now.

It is not clear when Vildoza will join the Knicks this season.
