Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo is active for Game 4 of the team's semifinal series against the Heat on Monday night.

Rondo dislocated his left elbow in the third quarter of Saturday night's Game 3 against Miami, but returned to begin the fourth quarter after Boston's training staff worked diligently on the injury.

"He's gonna play," coach Doc Rivers told the media prior to Monday night's game.

"I really don't know, honestly. He looked OK this morning, so I mean we've really just got to wait and see," Rivers added when asked what the team would expect from Rondo. "Very similar to the Shaq [O'Neal] thing where we have to use our eyes to make a decision."

Rondo is averaging 11.3 points, 10 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game in the series.

Boston also activated reserve point guard Carlos Arroyo, who was inactive for Game 3.
