When Jazz brass gathered last June for their annual end-of-the-season meetings, coach Jerry Sloan pooh-poohed the possibility of playing rookie shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson at the point, too.
"Five or six different times it came up," Jazz owner Larry H. Miller said then. "And Jerry said flat out, 'He ain't playing point.' "
Four months later, it seems the ol' coach has softened his stance ? somewhat.
"That's a possibility," Sloan said Wednesday.
