Andy Schwartz of ComcastSportsNet reports that the Sixers are still searching for who will play along side Dikembe Mutombo in the frontcourt.
Robert "Tractor" Traylor, one of the players acquired in the trade for Hill, will get every opportunity to earn a spot as the starter. The other top candidate is Matt Geiger. With Traylor still learning head coach Larry Brown's system and Geiger's health a daily question mark, the job is still open, and it will probably remain that way for the a while.
"It's a little bit of committee right now ? with Geiger and Traylor and even [Jerome] Moiso can play some four," assistant coach Randy Ayers said. "So, right now we're going to look at it as committee and try to get the most out of them as we can. Hopefully, as we get into the preseason, somebody will step forward."
