Fear, respect and concern filled the Target Center. Fans wondered if the Orlando Magic were getting it together. They saw Tracy McGrady dunk over two of their Minnesota Timberwolves during the first half, then saw the Magic build a seven-point lead early in the third quarter, and the fans squirmed.

"I don't have a good feeling about this one," said a woman sitting behind the Minnesota Timberwolves' bench.

The Magic, however, are still their early-season selves, too many times using glue instead of cement to build a reputation. They ended their five-game West Coast trip about 22 minutes early at the Target Center on Saturdaynight.

And that's when the Timberwolves taught the Magic a lesson about team continuity. The Magic's shots stopped falling, and Minnesota got contributions from every player on the court during a 24-2 third-quarter run that led to a 103-95 victory.

So the Magic (5-6) end their five-games-in-seven nights trip at 2-3, not with the ending that they wanted but still feeling OK about things.

"We're coming together," said McGrady, who had 25 points and six rebounds.
