Right now, he's the Magic Mystery Man, wearing a No. 16 jersey that bears no name on the back.

Jud Buechler is the Magic's newest player, coming to the team in the Thursday trade that sent Bo Outlaw to Phoenix. In time, he says, he will fit in.

"It's going to come," said Buechler, who did not score Saturday but grabbed three rebounds in four minutes. "I like this team. I definitely think we have a chance to do good things."

Buechler, an 11-year veteran who has played for seven teams and has three championship rings, joined the team after the shootaround Friday morning. Magic Coach Doc Rivers said it shouldn't take long for him to adjust. He also said Buechler's championship experience will help.

"The value of that can't be measured," Rivers said. "He has instant credibility. He's been through what we're trying to go through. The players have to listen."
