The Jazz approached their matchup with the self-described "worst team in the league" Saturday night like they wanted to be home watching the NFL playoffs on television.

Or "Love Boat" reruns.

Anything but playing the Memphis Grizzlies at the Delta Center.

By time the Jazz got interested they were in a dogfight, and it cost them.

A week after declaring, "we"re the worst team in the league," Grizzlies point guard Jason Williams scored 22 points to lead his team to a 97-95 victory in double-overtime.

"We didn"t have the right mental approach to trying to play them," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said.

The game saw John Stockton uncharacteristically passing up a potential game-winning shot at the end of regulation, and John Starks making what he called a "bone-head" play at the end of the second overtime.
