If Lakers forward Devean George's 13 points provided inspiration Friday night, Robert Horry's 13 produced a sigh of relief.

Though not as dramatic as George's contribution, Horry's effort during the Lakers' 110-95 victory over the San Antonio Spurs at Staples Center was just as significant.

The veteran forward was a certifiable disaster in the two games in San Antonio, going 2 for 11 from the field. Not surprisingly, the Lakers fell behind 2-0 to the Spurs.

But in Game 3, Horry needed a only a quarter to make two field goals and finished with a double-double (13 points, 12 rebounds) to go along with three blocked shots and three assists.
