Heat coach Pat Riley has spent the past two days on the perimeter of the Moody Bible Institute's gymnasium intently watching a group of 66 players and taking notes.

That's because Riley could have as many as two second-round picks from that group, and there is a chance Riley could nab a significant player.

''I think this draft is pretty deep,'' said Danny Ainge, the Celtics' president of basketball operations. ``A second-rounder has some value.

``There might be somebody here that will stand out. Sometimes it's hard to tell in this environment, but I get a feeling we're going to see eight or 10 of these guys playing in the league.''
