Twenty foreign players were invited to the NBA pre-draft camp, but only two, Aleksandar Vujacic of Slovenia, who plays for Snaidero Udine of the Italian pro league, and Aleksandar Djuric of Austria, chose to attend.

Pavel Podkolzine, a 7-foot-4 "Siberian Bear," will have a private workout here today.

Center Matt Bonner from Florida said he wished more foreign players had shown up for the camp.

"They should be here knuckling up, proving themselves against the Americans," Bonner said. "I know they're very skilled, but the NBA is a very physical game, and it would be nice to see how they do with it. I'm kind of mad at my dad for not moving to Poland or something."
