Pardon Cavaliers General Manager Jim Paxson for not keeping a more watchful eye on possible early first-round draft picks.

The Cavaliers already have completed their first-round shopping.

As the holder of the top pick in the NBA Draft next week, the franchise has made it clear it's taking LeBron James.

``Our focus is on the 31st pick,'' Paxson said of their second-round selection.

The Cavaliers will work out 10 to 12 prospects early next week at Gund Arena.

Paxson said he has three or four players in mind who would make a nice addition.
