David Lee:  He plans to return to action even if the Knicks are no longer in the race when his leg heals enough to permit him to play.  Lee reported progress but is still not ready to practice.  ?I did the water treadmill today, shot free throws and biked,? he said.

Steve Francis:  ?He did not practice, and I do not think he?s going to play (Wednesday),? said coach Isiah Thomas. ?I think he?ll play soon, but I don?t know when that will be. I don?t think this will be a season-ender.?

Jamal Crawford:  He is not running yet but he's doing a little more each day.
