The Minnesota Timberwolves met with LaMelo Ball in Southern California on Tuesday.

The Wolves own the top overall selection in the 2020 NBA draft.

Gersson Rosas and Ryan Saunders attended the meeting, which was the first one Ball has conducted.

Ball is scheduled to interview with the Golden State Warriors next week and is also expected interview with the Charlotte Hornets and Chicago Bulls. There currently is no expectation that Ball will meet with the New York Knicks, who currently own the No. 8 pick.

Ball didn't workout for the Wolves and his last competitive game was on November 30, 2019.
