Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone is expected to add Ryan Saunders to his coaching staff, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Saunders would replace Jordi Fernandez, who left for the Kings.

The 36-year-old Saunders was fired as the head coach of the Timberwolves on Feb. 21, 2021.
