The Boston Celtics agreed to a three-year, $6 million deal with Sam Hauser, sources told Adam Himmelsbach of the Globe.

The first two years of the deal are fully guaranteed.

Hauser, who was on a two-way deal last season with the Celtics, averaged 2.5 points and 1.1 rebounds in 26 games.

The Celtics are optimistic that Hauser can turn into a rotation player next season.

The team now has three empty roster spots.
