Bulls Looking To Add Point Guard, Intrigued By Lonzo Ball

May 20, 2019 12:50 AM

The Chicago Bulls are reportedly interested in Lonzo Ball, according to K.C. Johnson.

The Bulls are looking add a point guard this offseason. The team envisions Ball's pass-first style as the key to unlocking Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter Jr., and Zach LaVine's talents.

Kris Dunn is said to have little value in a potential trade, raising the possibility of a 3-team deal.

Outside of a trade, the Bulls are said to be interested in a group of restricted free-agent point guards. They also sense that they can get Malcolm Brogdon with the right offer.

Bulls Have Interest In Lonzo Ball

May 14, 2019 4:40 PM

The Chicago Bulls could reach out to the Los Angeles Lakers about a trade for Lonzo Ball if they end up in the No. 3 to No. 6 range in the lottery.

The Bulls like Ja Morant if they end up with the No. 2 overall pick.

Ball has also been linked with the Phoenix Suns, who similarly need a point guard.

The Lakers' decision to hire Jason Kidd as an assistant coach portends that they would like to keep Ball and develop him.
