Antetokounmpo spent last season with the Lakers after spending the 18-19 season with the Dallas Mavericks.
The Los Angeles Lakers' career-ending injury application for Luol Deng was denied by the league, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The league's panel determined that Deng did not suffer a career-ending injury with the Lakers.
Deng, who last played for the Wolves in the 2018-19 season, will be owed $10 million over the next two seasons.
The Los Angeles Lakers have requested waivers on center Jordan Bell.

Anthony Davis is in a waiting pattern on his contract terms with the Los Angeles Lakers, which could be connected to the supermax decision Giannis Antetokounmpo is weighing with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks have been "operating under the belief" that Antetokounmpo will sign a supermax extension, but nothing has been agreed upon.
"I think there are two star players waiting to sign to see what Giannis does," said Brian Windhorst on ESPN Radio. "That's Anthony Davis. He's coming back to the Lakers, but he may change the alteration of his contract, the way it's structured, to give the Lakers a window, if not for Giannis but for somebody in a one-plus-one. Because that's what LeBron is now on.
"And Bam Adebayo. If Bam Adebayo signs a max contract, the Heat will not have the room. But if he waits a year, than they will."
Adebayo shares an agent with Antetokounmpo in Alex Saratsis.
Windhorst also described Antetokounmpo's decision as the most impactful in the NBA since Kevin Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors in 2016.
During an additional Windhorst appearance on Sports Center, he reiterated the possibility of Davis signing a one-plus-one if Antetokounmpo decides against the supermax at this time.

Morris will sign for the veteran's minimum. Morris also received interest from the Los Angeles Clippers.
Morris finished last season with the Lakers, playing key rotation minutes for their title run.
The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers are both pursuing Markieff Morris in free agency.
Morris finished last season with the Lakers.
Marcus Morris re-signed with the Clippers last week. The twin brother were teammates early in their careers with the Phoenix Suns.
Marc Gasol has agreed to two-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers at $5.3 million, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe of ESPN.
The Lakers traded JaVale McGee to the Cavs to make room for Gasol.
Because Gasol is signing a two-year deal, his cap hit counts at his actual salary of $2.6 million instead of the lower minimum if it was a one-year deal.
According to Shams Charania, there will be no team or player option in Year 2 of the deal.
The Los Angeles Lakers are trading JaVale McGee and a future second-round pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The Lakers will receive Jordan Bell and Alfonzo McKinnie, who are both on non-guaranteed deals.
The deal gives the Lakers more financial flexibility to sign Marc Gasol.
