The Memphis Grizzlies game against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday has been postponed due to health and safety protocols.

It will be the fifth straight Grizzlies game that has been postponed.

The Grizzlies have had no new players enter the league's health and safety protocol, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The NBA has postponed the next three games for the Memphis Grizzlies.

The games are scheduled for Friday, January 22nd and Sunday, January 24th at Portland, as well as a game on Monday, January 25th against the Kings.

The Grizzlies will not have a minimum of eight players due to positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing.

The NBA has postponed Wednesday's game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies due to contract tracing. The contract tracing is focused on the Memphis side.

The NBA had previously postponed a game on Wednesday between the Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets.

This is the 16th game to be postponed so far this season.

Jonas Valanciunas has entered the NBA's health and safety protocols, and will miss the Memphis Grizzlies' game against the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.

The Sixers-Thunder game on Sunday has been postponed due to contact tracing connected with the Grizzlies. 

The Grizzlies played the Timberwolves on Wednesday night. Karl-Anthony Towns announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday. 

Jonas Valanciunas was pulled from the Memphis Grizzlies' 115-110 win over the Brooklyn Nets in the second half due to health and safety protocols.

Valanciunas did not test positive for COVID-19, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

"As soon as we got notification in conversations with the league, we had to pull him from the game out of an abundance of caution and put him into the health and safety protocol. Big thing is he's not positive, but it's abundance of caution," said Taylor Jenkins.

Valanciunas played 14 minutes in the first half. 

Tim Frazier has agreed to sign with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Frazier was waived by the Detroit Pistons in February.

The Grizzlies were able to sign Frazier using the hardship exception.
