Dwight Howard has hired shooting coach Ed Palubinskas of Australia to work with him.
Palubinskas also has worked with Brandon Bass and briefly with Shaquille O'Neal.
Palubinskas, who played for LSU, offered his services to Howard in May of 2010.
"I will completely change his numbers in less than one week and you won't recognize him," Palubinskas wrote in an email to the Orlando Sentinel.
Justin Harper has signed a deal with Strasbourg-France.
The deal is worth $14,000 per month plus bonuses, according to a source.
Harper will possess an out-clause in his contract for when the NBA ends its lockout.
Dwight Howard has been working with a new shooting coach for the past week.
The private shooting sessions are already making a difference in his jumper, Howard said.
"It's looking a lot better," said Howard, who has yet to release the name of the shooting coach. "I've been working with him a week and he's changed my shot tremendously."
Howard also plans to work more with Hakeem Olajuwon and continue to develop his expanding offensive game in the states.
Howard worked with Olajuwon for a week earlier this summer and three days last summer, concentrating on Howard's footwork and scoring mindset.
Earl Clark is considering signing in China.
Clark is negotiating with Zhejian of the Chinese Basketball Association, according to multiple reports.
A source close to Clark said on Tuesday that he "has not signed anything yet."
The deal with Zhejiang is reportedly in the high six figures. He earned approximately $1.8 million last season.

The two big men not only worked on Howard’s post-game footwork and mid-range shooting game, they talked about Howard keeping a scorer’s mentality and ways for Howard to improve his free-throw shooting.
Olajuwon believes Howard could be a more effective offensive player if given more freedom and confidence.
“He just said I want you to do them in the game, and tell your coach you got a lot of skills and he needs to let you use all your skills,” Howard said Tuesday.
