Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso will miss at least one week due to a hamstring injury. Bulls coach Billy Donovan said Caruso is also dealing with a calf injury, in addition to the hamstring injury.

Donovan said the team doesn't believe Caruso's injury is serious, but the team will be cautious with one of their key rotation players. Caruso has been one of the leading contenders for Sixth Man of the Year in the early part of the season. The reserve guard is leading the league in steals with 2.2 thefts per game.

The Bulls are expected to become eligible to add a player via the hardship exemption. Chicago is without Caruso and Patrick Williams due to injuries. Coby White has been in the NBA's health and safety protocols for a week and DeMar DeRozan was place in the protocols on Monday.
