Thomas Holmstrom and Lebda out with minor injuries

Post#1 » by Mr Swagtastic » Thu Apr 26, 2007 4:58 pm

There have been reports stating that Lebda is out with both a ankle sprain and a concussion suffered by the sucker punch by Flames foward Daymond Langkow. Holmstrom is out with what doctor's are calling a eye injury. He was injured in 6 of first round and said
"I am not 100% I want to try to heal my injury first my heart wants me to play but I don't want risk any sort of damage or worse"

Both players are listed as day to day but will not start tonight vs. The San Jose Sharks

This sucks. Homer is important in his own way, going to the net and screening, etc. Lebda has really stepped up and has become valuable on the power play.

We are going to miss both tonite.

I agree Bert is going to be take over Homer's role or maybe give it to Cleary.
