Ill give a quick prediction, Detroit in 6, which is the norm for series games currently. We are just playing to well right now.

End of the line me thinks. I'd like to be able to say we can make it out of this series, but the Ducks are playing ridiculously well themselves and we're starting to look a bit to thin on defense.

Ducks in 6. But I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

I'm more optimistic. If the Red Wings play like they did in Games 5 and 6 of the last series, we should be able to win in 6 or 7. Just to be safe, let's say Red Wings in 7.

I'm not surprised that the Ducks beat Vancouver in 5 (although I am a little surprised at how fast they beat the Wild). But, Detroit's defense - even with Schneider out - is way better than the Min or Van defense. And, for playoff hockey, Hasek > Luongo.

This Anaheim team is kind of like the Blues teams that Detroit faced in the late 90s. Pronger-Niedermayer is just Pronger-MacInnis v. 2.0.

Wings in 7, these teams are very well matched up. I think we will pull this off. This is the time for Bert to show up

Loss, 4-3 in OT. Dissapointing, but not surprising. We need to steal one in Anaheim now for sure.

Yeah one of the goals was pure BS. Neidmeider (sp) hit Hasek with his stick. He should have been issued a penelty for that play even the play by play guy (Jim Houston) said it shouldn't count.

We need to come back strong and beat the Ducks

Mike Babcock looks like a coaching genius right now. His lineup changes have all paid off as the Wings are making Game 3 look easy.

Not for nothing but he did coach the Ducks a few years back that could have something to do with it.

Detroit just I think wanted it more and just out played the Ducks for the get go.

Pronger should be matched a suspension he lead in with his elbow if you look at it you can see he used it to hit Thomas.

Puke.

Nice rally and all, but no dice. We got the home ice back tho and that is all that matters.

Time to grab game 5 and control

Return to Detroit Red Wings
