Byron Mullens has signed a deal with Panionios of Greece during the NBA lockout.

Mullens will be reunited with former Ohio State teammates Jon Diebler and Zisis Sarikopoulos.

"Basically I was pretty much just waiting to hear about what's going on with the lockout and was talking to my agent about it," said Mullens. "And we decided to see if we could get a deal going overseas to play. I've been working out all summer. We thought it'd be best to just get a different feel. You can only get better to a certain point working out by yourself."

J.R. Giddens has signed with PAOK Thessaloniki for the 11-12 season.

Giddens played for Asseco Prokom last season.

Justin Robinson has signed with Maroussi.

Robinson, who is from England, played collegiately for Rider.

Olympiacos Piraeus signed 21-year-old point guard Vangelis Mantzaris to a four-year deal on Monday.

Mantzaris arrives from Peristeri, where he averaged 8.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 28 Greek League games last season.

Demos Dikoudis signed a one-year deal on Saturday with PAOK.

Dikoudis arrives from AEK Athens, where he averaged 14.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 24 Greek League games last season.
