Khris Middleton and the Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a three-year, $102 million deal.

Middleton opted out of his $40 million option for 23-24 with the Bucks and signed a longer term deal.

Eric Gordon is expected to receive interest in free agency from the Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks and Portland Trail Blazers, sources tell Kelly Iko of The Athletic.

Gordon was due $21 million for the 23-24 season, but the Los Angeles Clippers waived him ahead of his guarantee date. The Clippers traded a first round pick for Gordon at the trade deadline. 

The Los Angeles Lakers have interest in Brook Lopez with their full mid-level exception starting at $12.4 million.

Lopez played for the Lakers during the 17-18 season.

Lopez is coming off a four-year, $52 million deal sign with the Bucks in 2019.

The Milwaukee Bucks are in "a promising position" to re-sign both Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez, sources tell Marc Stein of Substack.

Middleton has been considered more likely than Lopez to remain with the Bucks after opting out of his $40 million option for 23-24.

But Stein reports that Lopez "is likewise leaning toward a Bucks return."

Lopez is expected to receive interest from the Houston Rockets.

Jevon Carter will decline his $2.2 million player option with the Milwaukee Bucks for next season. Carter will then become an unrestricted free agent.

The Bucks signed Carter to a two-year deal via the minimum exception ahead of last season. Carter outperformed that contract with the best season of his NBA career. The fifth-year guard averaged 8.0 points and shot 42% on three-pointers in 81 games for Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Bucks have a pair of key free agents in Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez, but they have also been involved in trade discussions for Bradley Beal. The Bucks also reportedly internally considered a trade for John Collins, who was moved this week by the Atlanta Hawks to the Utah Jazz. 

"A team I heard at least had some relatively serious internal discussions about 'Should we wade into the John Collins thing?'" said Zach Lowe. "And I don't know if they contacted Atlanta or how serious it got, was Milwaukee. And that's interesting to me because I do think Milwaukee is looking around for, like, 'Can we get a little just injection of randomness? An injection of, like, balance and athleticism. And just change. Maybe just change more than anything else. I don't think it went anywhere serious.

"I think Phoenix even looked at him this time around and just doesn't have anything left after trading for [Bradley] Beal."

Khris Middleton declined his $40 million option with the Milwaukee Bucks last week, which will make him an unrestricted free agent.

"All signs are pointing" to Middleton and the Bucks quickly agreeing to a new contract, reports Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

Middleton participated in the Bucks' head coaching search, which was a signal that he would likely remain with the franchise over the long-term.

The Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings were two teams linked to Middleton as free agent suitors. 

The Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls have been mentioned in league circles as teams with potential interest in Derrick Rose.

The New York Knicks have interest in re-signing Rose at a lower number after declining their $15.6 million option on him.

Rose fell out of New York's rotation in December.

Drew Timme has agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Time went undrafted out of Gonzaga.

Omari Moore has agreed to a Two-Way deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Moore went undrafted out of San Jose State.
