The Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves and Portland Trail Blazers have been the most proactive to try to acquire the top pick, according to sources.

Neither team has persuaded the Cavaliers to move out of the pick, though.

Kevin Durant Officially Signs With Jay-Z's Agency

Kevin Durant announced he has officially signed with Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports agency.

Durant left Landmark Sports earlier this month.

"Grateful for the opportunity with Roc Nation Sports. It's go time," Durant said in a statement posted with a picture of him and Jay-Z officially signing together.

"He has a 90.5 free throw shooting rate, the youngest player in NBA history to join the 50-40-90 club, a giving individual and a legend in the making. What more can I say?" Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter added.

Durant has three seasons left on his contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly shown interest in acquiring the pick.

The Mavericks are seeking either a 2014 first round pick or a deal to unload Shawn Marion's contract to create more cap space.

Some around the league believe the Mavericks may have already secured a deal for the pick.

Kevin Durant will leave agent Rob Pelinka to sign with Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports.

"He doesn't want a traditional NBA agent anymore," a source told Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Durant seeks an opportunity to have Jay-Z handle his branding.

"He had a chance to be with his idol and couldn't say no," said a source.

Durant was represented by Aaron Goodwin when he entered the NBA, making Jay-Z's agency his third representation.
