Rip will play, the x-rays were negative and they're saying he's got a strained elbow but the problem is it's on his shooting elbow. I won't be shocked if he plays, but I'll be surprised if he plays well. People were saying he was just faking but it doesn't make sense that he'd fake an injury with the gamne on the line. I can't stand Rip's dirty ass game or his disgraceful flopping but the guy is a **** gamer. He's not Vince Carter.
If you watch the highlights of the game you'll see his hand around Ray's neck and then after the play was over his arm just went dead without any sort of contact. It was weird.

^ Yeah, I want to hear Sheed post game interview.
I hate Hamilton with a passion just because of his dirty play and crafty nasty tricks but I have to admit the guy is a gamer and I never understood him being an All-Star but boy I do now.
I think he will be fine for game . All they have to do is just finish his elbow a little bit more

One thing that made me laugh was the camera shot after Sheed's tech. He was just standing there at the FT line, just staring at Mauer for like 10 seconds. Then he just shakes his head sadly. I laughed pretty loudly there (a feat considering all the piston-fan angst). He complains in style, i'll give him that.

Once again, the good Celtics showed up, just as I predicted. Rondo, Perkins, and Allen all played much better at home.
Detroit played well, though not their best. Seems like in every loss, there's one thing that Detroit has done very poorly, and last night it was rebounding.
Boston should look to close out the series at the Palace. They're facing a Pistons team that's playing hurt, and the Celts need to show the killer instinct and go for the kill. Of course, the Celtics have been the most up and down team this postseason, so who knows what we'll get out of them in game 6.
If this series goes to 7 games, I wouldn't be surprised if Detroit pulled off the win on the road. The Celtics are not looking like a championship team, despite the fact they are winning this series. The fourth quarter of game 5 shows that they have the ability to lose one at home on their own demerits. The Pistons are a good enough team to capitalize on Boston's mental weakness.
I honestly think game 6 is up in the air right now, with a slight edge to the Pistons. The Pistons are playing at home, but injuries might play a role in the outcome.

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."
