Gerald Henderson and the Charlotte Bobcats have agreed upon a three-year, $18 million contract.

Henderson accepted less money in order to have an early termination option after the 14-15 season.

“IT”S OFFICIAL!!! … I am a Charlotte Bobcat again!” Henderson wrote on his confirmed Twitter account. “I am glad to be back and am ready for another season in the Queen City.”

Gerald Henderson and the Charlotte Bobcats are finalizing a three-year, $18 million deal.

Henderson is a restricted free agent.

Henderson was the 12th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Charlotte Bobcats 75-67 in Summer League play on Sunday.

The NBA has approved the name of the Charlotte Bobcats to the Charlotte Hornets.

The Bobcats were named after the franchise's first owner Robert Johnson.

The New Orleans Pelicans abandoned the name, Hornets, this season.

The name change will take effect for the 14-15 season.

Byron Mullens and the Los Angeles Clippers are closing in on a two-year agreement.

Mullens spent the past two seasons with the Charlotte Bobcats after playing limited time with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Mullens was the 24th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.

Michael Jordan has promoted his brother, Larry Jordan, to team director of player personnel.

Larry Jordan will report to Michael Jordan, Rod Higgins and Rich Cho.

Larry Jordan's previous job was team director of special projects.
