Mfiondu Kabengele has agreed to a contract for the rest of the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The deal contains non-guarantees for 21-22 and 22-23.
Kabengele was a first round pick in 2019 by the Los Angeles Clippers.
Kevin Love threw a temper tantrum at the end of the third quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers' eventual loss to the Toronto Raptors, angrily tapping a ball back into play and to the other team instead of inbounding the ball to a teammate. The Raptors made a three-pointer as Love walked up the court. Love had hurt his knee shortly before the episode.
"That was unacceptable,” a source texted the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
“You’ll have to ask Kevin,” Bickerstaff said when asked what Love was doing at the end of the quarter. “We talked about it. He apologized to his teammates for it and we’ll move on.”
Love didn't speak to reporters after the game.
Larry Nance Jr. will likely miss the rest of the season with a broken thumb.
Nance suffered the injury on Sunday against the Wizards.
Nance is averaging 9.3 points and 6.7 rebounds on the season.
The Cavs were also missing Collin Sexton due to a concussion suffered last week. There is no timetable for his return.
Taurean Prince is expected to undergo season-ending surgery for an ankle injury.
The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Prince in January as part of the James Harden trade.
Prince averaged 10.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 23.7 minutes over 29 games with the Cavaliers.

Dylan Windler underwent successful left knee surgery on Tuesday at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago to address ongoing patella tendinopathy concerns.
Recent imaging at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health and continuous evaluation by the Cavaliers medical staff confirmed that surgery was the best course of action to treat the affected area. The procedure was performed by Dr. Brian Cole in consultation with Cavaliers team physician Dr. James Rosneck.
Windler will be out indefinitely and his return to basketball activities will be updated as appropriate.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed Mfiondu Kabengele to a second 10-day contract.
Kabengele (6-9, 250) has played in three games with the Cavaliers after signing his first 10-day contract with the team on April 10. He also appeared in 23 games for the Los Angeles Clippers this season before being traded to the Sacramento Kings on March 22. Kabengele, who was waived by the Kings on March 25, owns career averages of 1.9 points in 4.7 minutes over 38 games during his two NBA seasons with the Clippers and Cavaliers. The 23-year-old also played in 27 contests (all starts) for the Agua Caliente Clippers of the NBA G League in 2019-20, averaging 18.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.9 blocks in 31.2 minutes.
Kabengele was the 27th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft out of Florida State.

Stevens went undrafted in 2020 out of Penn State and joined the Cavaliers on a Two-Way contract.
Stevens is averaging 4.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 13.1 minutes over 37 games with the Cavaliers.
