The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to hire Brian Wright as assistant general manager.

Wright was most recently with the Detroit Pistons after spending eight seasons with the Orlando Magic. Wright attended graduate school at the University of Central Florida, earning an MBA and Master’s in sports business management from the DeVos Sports Business Management Program.

The Spurs have lost Sean Marks to the Brooklyn Nets and Scott Layden to the Minnesota Timberwolves so far in 2016.

The Detroit Pistons have agreed to sign Boban Marjanovic to a three-year, $21 million offer sheet.

Marjanovic emerged this season as a rookie with the San Antonio Spurs, posting some of the NBA's most impressive per minute stats.

Marjanovic is a restricted free agent but the Spurs will be unable to match and they've since moved onto agree to a two-year, $6 million deal with Dewayne Dedmon.

The Pistons signed Aron Baynes, who also was previously with the Spurs. to a three-year, $20 million contract last offseason.

The Detroit Pistons were the "mystery team" that met with Al Horford on Friday.

Horford has since zeroed in on the Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks.

Detroit has since signed Jon Leuer on a four-year, $42 million deal.

Jon Leuer has agreed upon a four-year, $42 million deal with the Detroit Pistons.

Leuer spent last season with the Phoenix Suns after two seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Leuer shot 38.2 percent on 110 three-point attempts last season with the Suns.

Andre Drummond and the Detroit Pistons have agreed upon a five-year, $130 million max deal.

Drummond will have a player option for Year 5 of the deal.

The Pistons and Drummond agreed to table extension talks last year to preserve their cap space as he had a lower cap hold.

Drummond was an All-Star for the first time in his career in 2016.

Ish Smith has agreed to join the Detroit Pistons on a three-year, $18 million deal.

Smith wanted to re-sign with the Philadelphia 76ers but received no interest at the start of free agency.
