The Detroit Pistons have signed Eugene Omoruyi to a contract for the remainder of the season.

Omoruyi was on two straight 10-day day contract with the Pistons where he averaged 8.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 21.3 minutes.

Omoruyi also appeared in 23 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Detroit Pistons have signed Eugene Omoruyi to a second 10-day deal.

Omoruyi has averaged 8.2 points and 2.6 rebounds 18.2 minutes over five games with the Detroit Pistons.

Omoruyi previously played in 23 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder this season.

Isaiah Stewart will miss the next 3-4 weeks with a left shoulder impingement, the Detroit Pistons announced on Thursday.

With the Pistons' regular season finale on April 9, Stewart may be out for the rest of this year.

The 21-year-old had missed the previous four games with hip soreness. 

The Detroit Pistons are considering shutting down Bojan Bogdanovic for the remainder of the season due to concerns on his Achilles.

Bogdanovic has dealt with Achilles issues this season.

Bogdanovic has played in just one of the team’s last five games, playing 39 minutes and scoring 34 points on March 1st.

The Pistons resisted considerable trade interest on Bogdanovic leading to the deadline.

Bogdanovic and the Pistons signed a two-year, $39.1 million extension early in the season.

Eugune Omoruyi has signed a 10-day contract with the Detroit Pistons. Omoruyi was recently waived by the Oklahoma City Thunder. That happened after Omoruyi signed a standard contract from his two-way deal with the Thunder.

In 23 NBA games this season, Omoruyi averaged 4.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in 11.8 minutes per game. The 6-foot-6 forward also played for the Dallas Mavericks last season during his rookie year.
