The Detroit Pistons will have a second round of interviews this week with Charles Lee, Kevin Ollie and Jarron Collins.

The Pistons are searching for a replacement for Dwane Casey.

Lee is an assistant coach with the Milwaukee Bucks and has been considered one of the likeliest candidates to get a first time head coaching job.

Ollie is currently coaching the Overtime Elite.

Collins is an assistant coach with the New Orleans Pelicans. 

The Detroit Pistons began interviewing head coaching candidates this week, sources told James L. Edwards III of The Athletic.

Early front-runners for the role include Bucks assistant Charles Lee, Pelicans assistant Jarron Collins, and Overtime Elite coach Kevin Ollie.

All three have interviewed with the team, with Edwards describing Collin's interview as "stellar."

There is currently no rush to fill the vacancy, with the team expected to hold at least one more round of interviews with different candidates. 

The Detroit Pistons are interviewing Rex Kalamian for their head coaching job.

Kalamian is an assistant coach with the Pistons.

Kalamian has been an assistant coach in the NBA since 1995.

The Detroit Pistons have received permission to interview Brian Keefe for their head coaching job.

Keefe is currently an assistant coach with the Brooklyn Nets.

Keefe has familiarity with Troy Weaver from his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Keefe has also been an assistant coach with the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers.

The Detroit Pistons requested permission to interview Miami Heat assistant coach Chris Quinn, sources told Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.

The Pistons are also set to interview Kevin Ollie and Charles Lee.

Lee is considered one of Detroit's "significant candidates" for the job.

The Pistons are also interested in Adrian Griffin and Chris Quinn.

Kevin Ollie has emerged as a candidate for the Detroit Pistons' head coaching vacancy.

Ollie was head coach of UConn when they won the 2014 NCAA championship.

Ollie was more recently coaching with the Overtime Elite.

With Dwane Casey leaving coaching to head to the Detroit Pistons front office, the team will have to fill a vacancy on the sidelines. Casey was the Pistons head coach for the last five seasons.

Detroit is expected to consider Charles Lee, Adrian Griffin, Ime Udoka and Chris Quinn for their next head coach.

Lee is currently a Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach under Mike Budenholzer. Lee has been finalist for several head coaching opportunities over the last few years.

Griffin is an assistant coach to Nick Nurse in Toronto. He's also been a finalist for several head coaching jobs in the past. Griffin could also be under consideration in Toronto, should Nurse leave the Raptors.

Udoka led the Boston Celtics to the 2022 NBA Finals in his first year as their head coach. He was suspended for one year shortly before this season began, due to workplace misconduct. Udoka and Boston have since parted ways, and he's now free to pursue other coaching opportunities.

Quinn has been a long-time assistant under Erik Spoelstra with the Miami Heat. As a former player, he's been considered a rising start among the assistant coach ranks.

Detroit Pistons head coach Dwane Casey announced after his team's last game on Sunday that he will no longer be coaching the team. Casey said he's moving into the Pistons front office.

Casey completes a five-year run as Detroit's head coach. The Pistons went 121-263 with Casey at the helm.

Casey has also coached the Toronto Raptors and the Minnesota Timberwolves in his 14-year head coaching career. Casey led the Raptors to six consecutive playoff appearances.

Dwane Casey could transition from head coach of the Detroit Pistons to a front office role this offseason, sources tell Jake Fischer of Yahoo.

While various staffers with the Pistons are preparing for Casey to not remain as head coach, one source insists it will be Casey's decision.

Casey maintains a strong relationship with Tom Gores and he has received support despite four straight losing seasons. 

Casey delayed his media availability after Wednesday's game due to a meeting with Gores. Casey and Gores will meet again once the season is over.

Casey has one more season remaining on his contract.
