Bucks Expected To Receive Cap Exclusion For Mirza Teletovic

Nov 8, 2018 9:30 AM

The Milwaukee Bucks have asked the NBA for an exclusion to clear the remaining $10.5 million on the contract of Mirza Teletovic from their salary cap.

The Bucks are expected to meet the criteria based on Teletovic's career-ending injury. Teletovic was forced to retire because of a life-threatening pulmonary condition.

Wednesday marked the one-year anniversary since Teletovic last played in the NBA.

The Bucks would drop to $8.7 million under the luxury tax threshold for 2018-19.
