The Rockets completed their deadline trades with Memphis and Phoenix after unsuccessfully pursuing a trade that would have saw them acquire Marreese Speights and Jason Kapono for Shane Battier.

Instead, Houston has acquired Hasheem Thabeet and multiple first round picks.

Jason Kapono and the Sixers will likely negotiate a buyout following the trade deadline.

Kapono has played just 89 minutes this season.

The Celtics, Lakers, Thunder and Hornets are all expected to show interest once Kapono once he clears waivers.

The Sixers had been making Andre Iguodala available in trades this season, but have pulled him off the market during their recent surge, according to sources.

Iguodala is signed through the 13-14 season, with the final year being an early termination option.

The Blazers have offered Dante Cunningham and a second round pick to the Sixers in exchange for Marreese Speights, according to a Western Conference source.

Philadelphia appears uninterested in Portland's proposal.

The Sixers have been among the hottest teams in the NBA recently but executive still wonder whether the team would be willing to part with Andre Iguodala in order to unburden itself of the tens of millions of dollars owed to Andre Iguodala.

Philadelphia is currently the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Jason Kapono, who has fallen out of Doug Collins' rotation, is being shopped by the Sixers.

But Philadelphia has so far been unable to find a satisfactory trade on the market.

Evan Turner, the second overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, did not receive an invite for the Rookie-Sophomore Challenge.

"When I found out I didn't make it, I was like, 'Whatever,'" Turner said. "There's not much you can really do about it. ... That's life. Sometimes, the funniest things happen in life. I've been playing well as of late. I can't worry about things I can't control. It's not like I'm a bad basketball player. I'll be fine."
