The Portland Trail Blazers have traded Tim Quarterman to the Houston Rockets for cash considerations.

The Rockets also acquired DeAndre Liggins from the Dallas Mavericks for cash considerations.

Quarterman's deal for 17-18 is non-guaranteed.

Houston is presumably attempting to create cap facilitating moves related to their trade for Chris Paul.

The Sacramento Kings have agreed to trade the No. 10 pick to the Portland Trail Blazers for selections No. 15 and No. 20.

The Blazers picked Zach Collins with the selection.

The Portland Trail Blazers haven't ruled out the possibility of trading for LaMarcus Aldridge, according to a source.

Aldridge left the Blazers to sign with the San Antonio Spurs in 2015. 

The Blazers would only be willing to complete a trade for Aldridge with the Spurs if they sent out matching salary. Portland owns three first round picks and is also interested in sending out salary. Portland has limited cap flexibility after their 2016 offseason.

The Spurs presumably have wanted to clear Aldridge's salary to create cap space.

While answering questions on Twitter, Damian Lillard was asked which team he would sign with other than the Portland Trail Blazers.

Lillard won't become a free agent until 2021 and has consistently talked about his love for Portland. Lillard even said he is prepared to forgo a title if he can't do with with the Blazers.

The New York Knicks and Portland Trail Blazers have discussed a trade involving a draft pick.

With the Blazers owning three first round picks, they are looking to shed salary by trading one of those picks.

The name of Maurice Harkless has come up in discussions between the Blazers and Knicks. Harkless signed a four-year, $40 million deal with the Blazers last offseason.

The New York Knicks have discussed acquiring one of the three first round picks owned by the Portland Trail Blazers.

Portland owns the 15th, 20th and 26th overall picks. According to a report earlier this week from Keith Smith, the Blazers have interest in using one of those picks to shed salary from their books.

Talks between New York and Portland are believed to be in the early stages, but one scenario discussed involved an additional player from Portland being sent in a trade.

The Knicks own the eighth overall pick.
