The new guy looked all right.
Michael Jordan, greeted Thursday night with a rousing standing ovation from some 20,000 fans at The Palace, played 16 minutes and 33 seconds in his first live NBA action in three years.

"It was great to see the response they gave me," Jordan said. "I know these fans here are very loyal to their team, and I certainly appreciated it. It inspires me to continue to do my job as a basketball player."
Although the rust was obvious, Jordan managed eight points on 4-of-8 shooting, with three rebounds, a steal, a blocked shot and two turnovers.
