Ken Rodriguez of the San Antonio Express-News writes: The Miami Heat welcomed Rod Strickland to South Beach this week, and it's even money whether Strickland will get more minutes on the court or more time behind bars by Christmas.

Unofficially, Strickland, the former Spurs guard, leads the NBA in the Most-Times-Arrested-Or-Charged category with eight.

Officially, he has three convictions ? two for drunk driving, one for battery ? but there could be more. His criminal record in high school and college remains a mystery.

In five seasons with the Washington Wizards, police arrested Strickland four times. By the time you finish reading this sentence, he could be arrested again.
