The Indianapolis Star reviews the options the Pacers have to fulfill their need for a center now that the trading deadline is one month away.  There are some interesting possibilities that may come on the market but none really fits the bill perfectly.  Jermaine O'Neal and Jeff Foster are the Pacers centers by default but GM Donnie Walsh would dearly love to find someone to allow O'Neal to move permanently to power forward.  Dale Davis, Eric Dampier, Marc Jackson, Jamaal Magliore and Raef LaFrentz are interesting possibilities but they all have their limitations.

Walsh says he wouldn't be surprised by a busy trading period as the deadline approaches, but the teams willing to part with established players have something in common. "They all want the same thing: a big man," Walsh said.
