Jamaal Magloire has heard the trade rumours.

At the same time, he has heard his name called more often when the Charlotte Hornets need a bucket.

Magloire, who played high-school basketball at Eastern Commerce, has reached double digits in scoring in four consecutive games for the Hornets heading into tonight's tip against the Raptors.

For Magloire, every visit to Toronto evokes special memories.

The fact he's playing some of his best basketball in his two-year pro career at a time when the Bugs slowly are getting healthy makes tonight's visit more special for Magloire.

"Toronto is the most anticipated trip of the year for me,'' Magloire said yesterday. "I love coming home. I love being surrounded by my family and friends and that's something I look forward to each and every time I come here.''
