There were thousands of cowbells and hundreds of decibels echoing off the walls.

But in the end, it was the Kings who made the loudest noise with a 125-119 statement victory Thursday night.

"I want to thank the fans of Dallas," said Sacramento's Chris Webber. "This wasn't even loud tonight."

The Kings, of course, have taken the home-court advantage to new heights of ear-pounding insanity.

But what has taken them to the next level of NBA playoff contenders has been an ability to keep running their offense. And running. And running.

What ultimately separated them coming down the stretch was the Kings' poise and their determination to play their game.
