Jason Kidd is still hopeful that he will be able to make an appearance in Game 4 of the Nets series against Charlotte, if he can see.  Kidd was involved in a collision with David Wesley as the two tried to gain possession of a loose ball at the end of the first half, Kidd?s eye being split open and requiring 15 stitches to close.

"I'm all right, a little sore," Kidd said. "It's pretty swollen."

"It was a lot better than I thought it was," said the Nets coach Byron Scott.. "But it looks pretty good. He's got a lot of stitches up there, obviously. But he can open it a little bit."

"I'm not so concerned if he plays Sunday or not," Scott added. "I'm just concerned about Jason. He can't see out of his eye. So, unless that swelling goes down to the point where he can see, there's no reason for him to play. If he can't see, how is he going to help us out there on the court?"

"That's the thing about the playoffs -- the further you go, the more chances somebody is going to get hurt, even if it's just an ankle sprain or whatever," Scott said. "But with J-Kidd, and his all-out effort, every single night, you've got to expect that, sooner or later, he's going to have some type of bumps and bruises. It just happened to happen in the second round."
