Lionel Hollins was one of the first casualties after Michael Heisley and Dick Versace took over the Grizzlies.  He was summarily fired as head coach without any courtesey shown to him.

But Ron Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal says the Grizzlies are set to announce they have re-hired Hollins.  His earlier reports quoted president Jerry West as saying coach Sidney Lowe would be solely responsible for hiring his chief assistant.

Hollins was the coach last season for the USBL's expansion St. Louis SkyHawks.
